Greetings to you and warmest wishes of the season!
I know time is precious right now, so I want to share this super easy recipe with you that doubles as a perfect on-the-go snack, AND a lovely homemade gift: Sesame Garlic Tamari Almonds! Placed in a mason jar and adorned with a cute ribbon, who wouldn't want to receive the gift of a nutritious, delicious snack that is made with love? I find these highly addictive and keep a small bag in my purse at all times in case of emergency ;)
Sesame Garlic Tamari Almonds
5 cups raw almonds (I buy the big bag from Costco)
1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons tamari (soy sauce) - I use gluten-free tamari
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1-2 teaspoons garlic powder
Preheat oven to 300F and spread almonds out on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Roast for 20 minutes.
Put almonds in a bowl and pour the tamari overtop, mixing well. Allow the almonds to absorb the liquid for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
After 20 minutes, drizzle the sesame oil & garlic powder over the almonds and mix well to combine.
Spread the mixture back onto the baking sheet and roast for another 20-25 minutes.
Cool completely before packaging them up into decorative jars.

As 2018 comes to a close I want to express my gratitude to all of my current and previous clients, readers, and workshop attendees. Thank you for giving my work purpose and inspiring me to continue on this path of serving women on their fertility journeys. May your Christmas be full of love, light, peace, music, and delicious food.
In the spirit of giving, please consider writing a review on the Root to Fruit Facebook page if you have something positive to say about my consulting work, blogging, recipes, or workshops. Your support helps to grow my small business and is greatly appreciated :)
I will be taking a break from work, social media, and email from Dec. 24- Jan 2 to be fully present with the magic of the season, so please be patient if you are trying to reach me during that time. Looking forward to sharing with you all that I have planned for Root to Fruit in 2019!
